Royal Enfield Classic 350 on rent in Rishikesh
Ask a hundred people to picture "a Royal Enfield in Rishikesh" and most of them are picturing this one — the round headlight, the tank badge, the low thump at idle. It's also just a genuinely comfortable bike for covering distance on decent tarmac, which is most of what riding around here actually involves.
Spec
Best for — and not great for
Best for: highway cruising, the classic Rishikesh photo, two-up touring on tarmac. The riding position is upright and relaxed, the seat is wide and well padded for both rider and pillion, and at 195 kg it holds a confident, planted line on the open highway stretches toward Haridwar or Neelkanth.
Not great for: loose gravel and rutted mountain tracks — ground clearance is modest. Ground clearance is set up for tarmac, not for the gravel diversions and washouts you'll meet past Ukhimath or on the rougher Kedarnath approach — for those, see the Himalayan instead.
Who rides this bike
Weekend riders up from Delhi doing a two or three-day loop, and anyone who specifically wants the classic silhouette for the ride and the photos, not just transport. It's also a common second choice for Chardham riders who've already ridden a Classic elsewhere and want the same familiar feel here, accepting the ground-clearance tradeoff against the Himalayan.
What we check before you ride
Chain, brakes, tyres and clutch cable get checked before every rental, same as the rest of our Enfield fleet. For anything beyond a local day trip, we also check the tank seal and mirror mounts specifically — vibration on longer rides loosens these faster on the Classic than on the lighter bikes in our fleet.
Rides this bike is good for
Weighing it up against the other Enfields? Our Royal Enfield comparison page puts them side by side, or see our focused Himalayan vs Classic 350 breakdown if that's the specific choice you're making.
One more thing worth knowing
The Classic's low-slung silhouette is part of the appeal, but it also means the exhaust and lower frame sit closer to the ground than on the Himalayan — enough that we'd steer you away from it for anything involving deep water crossings or genuinely rutted unpaved sections, even short ones. If your route is mostly sealed road with the occasional rough patch, it handles that fine; if you're not sure how rough your planned route gets, ask us before you book and we'll tell you honestly whether the Classic is still the right call.
