Bike rental near Rishikesh bus stand
If you've just got off an overnight bus from Delhi or Dehradun, the last thing you want is a complicated journey to collect a rental bike. Here's the honest version of what that trip looks like.
Where you are, and where we are
Rishikesh's main bus stand (ISBT) is down in the town proper, well south of Laxman Jhula. It's not a walk with luggage — plan on an auto or shared taxi for the roughly 20-25 minute ride up to us, depending on traffic through town, which can be heavy mid-morning.
Getting from the bus stand to our shop
Autos wait outside the stand; a fair fare is somewhere in the ₹150-250 range, and if there's a prepaid auto counter operating, use it to skip the negotiation entirely. Tell the driver "Laxmanjhula Road, near Hotel Manikut" — it's a well-known enough landmark that most drivers won't need more than that.
Can we meet you there?
Not as a standard arrangement. We'd rather you collect from the shop, where you can see the actual bike, check the odometer, and confirm everything before you hand over a deposit — that's a harder conversation to have honestly at a chaotic bus stand than it is in our yard. If you're booking a monthly rental, ask us about delivery when you call; it's sometimes possible depending on where you're headed.
Arriving with luggage
If you're carrying a full backpack and heading straight to a hotel, consider taking the auto all the way to your accommodation first and collecting the bike once you're settled and travelling light — riding a rented scooty through unfamiliar traffic with a 15kg pack on your back isn't the ideal introduction to Rishikesh roads.
Arriving outside normal hours
We're open 8:00 AM–9:00 PM daily. If your bus gets in outside that window, call ahead on +91 81928 45805 — we'll try to work something out, but it's not something we can promise without notice, so a message before you travel is worth sending.
